"Scientific journals: creation, promotion, and estimation": seminar of scientific journal publishers

In order to promote one of the most important means of scientific communication between the experts in scientific journals publication, the seminar "Scientific journals: creation, promotion, and estimation" will be held on May 18, 2018, on the basis of the University of Customs and Finance, with the participation of Serhii Kozmenko, the head of the "JIC Index" project, and Liudmyla Ostapenko, the director of the publishing company "Business Perspectives".

At the seminar, Serhii Kozmenko will report on the topic "The state of the scientific journals publication in Ukraine and the level of their compliance with the world publishing standards based on JIC Index". Liudmyla Ostapenko will make a report "Promotion of an academic journal and a scientific article".

According to the speakers, the use of advanced practices of the scientific journals publication; benchmarks identification and strict adherence to the promotion and development strategy; analytical approach to determining the reasons for the journals non-compliance with the requirements of the leading scientometric databases; promotion of the journals in world scientific information systems; determining the academic journals compliance with international publishing standards; and the promotion of scientific publications by using modern means of scientific communication will significantly improve the scientific research quality and accelerate scientific and technological progress. Publishers, editors of scientific journals, scholars and interested persons will join these issues discussion during the seminar.
