Academic Journal Guide 2024
The Chartered ABS has published its 2024 edition of the Academic Journal Guide (AJG 2024). AJG 2024 now comprises 1,822 journals, up from nearly 1,700 journals in AJG 2021.
New contextual metrics: to enrich the information available to academics deciding where to publish their work, AJG 2024 now provides journal data on:
- The prevalence of article content relating to the UN's Sustainable Development Goals.
- The degree of international co-authorship.
- The extent of collaboration with stakeholders outside academia.
- The prevalence of work in the journals being cited in policy.
- The gender composition of editorial boards.
The inclusion of journals in the AJG is an important recognition for a journal, as this database is respected by researchers worldwide. The growth of ratings in this database demonstrates the high-quality and consistent work of the journal editors in many areas.
About AJG
The purpose of the AJG is to support academics and Deans in the navigation of the research environment and its complexity, through the provision of robust evidence informed information and data. It provides details on a wide range of journals, stretching across fields that are either central or salient to business and management studies where academics may seek to publish their research.
