Three years since the start of the full-scale invasion of Ukraine

February 24, 2024 marks three years since the full-scale invasion of Ukraine began. Many Ukrainian scientists were forced to leave their country and seek safe haven. A member of the editorial board of the Banks and Bank Systems journal, and a regular author of articles published in the journals of the Business Perspectives publishing house, Inna Makarenko first left for the Czech Republic and then for Finland, where she has been living since February 2023. She got a position at the University of Helsinki. Inna decided to stay with her family in Finland to preserve her life and health, but she tries to visit Ukraine every year to see her relatives and friends.
