Recent News and Releases

Our journals continue to evolve and we make every effort to develop them in the right direction. In this regard, we are very happy to share with you yet another, and not the last good news, namely, the Norwegian Register for Scientific Journals, Series and Publishers (NSD) began to index four of our journals.
Two of these journals received a level of 1. These are Banks and Bank Systems and Accounting and Financial Control.
The Innovative Marketing and Geopolitics under Globalization journals were also indexed.

The journal “Public and Municipal Finance”, ISSN (print) 2222-1867, ISSN (online) 2222-1875, is set be a fully open-access one since August 20, 2019. We support the Open Access initiative and this is our principled stand on the publishing model. We believe that scientific articles should be freely accessible to readers. That is why, “Business Perspectives”, as the copyright owner of all subscription articles, has made all articles of the Journal publicly available since February 2012.
We are glad to announce that on October 6, 2019, the application of the “Public and Municipal Finance” journal was accepted by DOAJ (Directory of Open Access Journals).

Unfortunately, there are not so many journals in Ukraine that are indexed in scientific international databases. And there are many reasons for this. One of them is that 90% of approximately 2,000 journals are founded and published by universities. It's volunteer work for many. That is why, we once again have acted as volunteers and shared our experience in creating and promoting journals. In particular, a seminar was held on "Domestic academic journals through the lens of world standards" at Lviv Polytechnic National University.

In September, the scientific community traditionally celebrated the Peer Review Week. The year 2019 focuses on the matter of quality in peer review. The scholars, universities and academic institutions, editorial boards and publishers who understand the role of peer review in shaping a quality scientific environment joined the event.

Publons is one of the key resources to help highlight the work of editors and reviewers. Last week, the Web of Science Group published its Global Peer Review Awards rating, based on Publons data.

According to the Directive as of November 7, 2018, the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of Poland has prepared and approved the List of journals and conferences (Komunikat Ministra Nauki i Szkolnictwa Wyższego z dnia 31 lipca 2019 r. w sprawie wykazu czasopism naukowych i recenzowanych materiałów z konferencji międzynarodowych wraz z przypisaną liczbą punktów).
