Creation and development of scientific journals (primarily international ones), book publishing, audit of scientific journals and consulting, seminars and webinars for university staff are the main areas of the Business Perspectives' activity.

We are glad to announce that on November 29, 2019, the application of the “Economics of Development” journal was accepted by DOAJ (Directory of Open Access Journals). This is a special event for us because in this case Business Perspectives is only the publisher of the journal, and its founder is Simon Kuznets Kharkiv National University of Economics.

Today, Australian Business Deans Council (ABDC) published its Journal Quality List. The list is quite specific, with its own special methodology. Although it includes journals from all over the world, it is created based upon request of scientists from the Australian region only.

Two of our journals are in this prestigious list, namely, Investment Management and Financial Innovations – category B, and Banks and Bank Systems – category C.

Peer review process is one of the key and determinant stages in creating a scientific journal and publishing a scientific article. Many events explore its types, procedures, possible conflicts of interest, etc. One should agree, this is very important for the Ukrainian publishing environment.

This is also relevant for Business Perspectives. Therefore, Liudmyla Ostapenko, the company CEO, recently participated in the COPE workshop.

SHERPA RoMEO is a database of open access journals. It is also a service run to show the copyright and open access self-archiving policies of academic journals.

They state the following on their site: SHERPA RoMEO is an online resource that aggregates and analyses publisher open access policies from around the world and provides summaries of self-archiving permissions and conditions of rights given to authors on a journal-by-journal basis
