Views: 1318 Downloads: 216 TO CITE АНОТАЦІЯThe purpose of this study is to examine the effect of market power and income diversification on the General Bank stability in Indonesia. This research uses a data sample of 20 general banks listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange for the period of 2011–2014. Data analysis technique used is Multiple Linear Regression. It can be concluded simultaneously that market power and revenue diversification have significant effect on bank stability and, partially, market power has a positive and significant effect on a bank stability. Income diversification has a positive non-significant effect on bank stability.

Views: 1451 Downloads: 256 TO CITE АНОТАЦІЯThere are two sectors of banks operating in Indonesia, namely Sharia banks and conventional banks. Improving performance is important in maintaining public confidence in the bank. Efficiency is one of the parameters to measure the performance of Sharia banks. This study measures the comparative level of technical efficiency of Sharia commercial banks and conventional banks by Stochastic Frontier Analysis method during 2011–2015 period by using 10 samples of Sharia commercial banks and conventional banks. Input variables in this study are total deposits, operational costs, and other operational costs. Total financing is an output variable. The results of this study show that total deposits and operational costs have a positive and significant impact on total financing in Sharia and conventional banks. The average score of the technical efficiency of Sharia commercial banks during the period observed is 0.84 and conventional banks is 0.85.

Views: 1566 Downloads: 121 TO CITE АНОТАЦІЯThis study examines the role of institutional ownership in moderating the relation between fundamental factors of a company and Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) and Enterprise Value (firm value). The type of this research is an explanation research method. The sampling method was a proportional random sampling method of the population of banking companies of the Indonesian Stock Exchange. The method of data collection was documentation. The method of data analysis was Multiple Regression Analysis. The results of this study showed that simultaneous net profit margin and corporate social responsibility had a significant effect on the firm value. Partial test shows that net profit margin variables had an effect on the firm value and corporate social responsibility variables, which consist of economy, and had no influence on firm value. The results also indicated that institutional ownership strengthened the relation of fundamental factors and corporate social responsibility with the Enterprise Value.

Views: 992 Downloads: 159 TO CITE АНОТАЦІЯThis study seeks to evaluate customer perceived value in housing in order to increase the construction of housing value from the consumer’s point of view. A total of 240 houseowners in the middle to upper housings in Medan city, Indonesia, participated in this study. The data analysis used in this study is the Partial Least Square (PLS) approach. The results indicate that the perception of consumer value is strongly influenced by the economic value of the housing and the location function of the housing. Housing offered should be able to meet the needs of consumers and has the good mobility and accessibility. The emphasis that needs to be put in encouraging the perception of consumer value is the ability of the product in general, namely housing units in answering the needs of consumers.
