This means that employees tend to have a desire to leave if they feel not attached to the company. Female employees who tend to be married have a role as an employee and family member. Married female employees will have high work engagement if they feel their work brings benefits to family life. This study aims to determine the effect of work-family enrichment on work engagement and turnover intention. The population of this research was 391 married women employees who worked at least a year in four-star hotels in Bali, Indonesia. The sample in this study is determined using a nonprobability sampling method with a saturated sample based on specified criteria, 331 questionnaires returned (response rate of 85%), but only 325 questionnaires were complete and feasible to be analyzed (usable response rate of 83%). Data were collected via questionnaire and analyzed using SEM (structural equation modeling). The results showed that married female employees were more enthusiastic about working when they could fulfill their multiple roles in work and be better family members. Their involvement in work seriously and feeling proud to be part of the company can reduce their intention to leave. This research is expected to be a consideration for management in making policies related to decreasing turnover intention.

Does intrapreneurship increase work spirit and performance of village credit institutions?

Views: 746 Downloads: 451 TO CITE АНОТАЦІЯThis study aims to analyze the influence of intrapreneurship on improving village credit institution (VCI) performance with the work spirit as a mediation variable. The study was conducted at 108 village credit institutions in Karangasem Regency, Bali Province, Indonesia. Respondents were representatives of the management of village credit institutions (heads, treasurers, and secretaries). Sampling was done by proportional random sampling. A quantitative approach was used. Data were analyzed by the partial least square with SmartPLS 2.0 M3 program. The results found that intrapreneurship had a significant positive effect on the VCI performance. In addition, intrapreneurship had a significant positive effect on the work spirit, work spirit had a significant positive effect on the VCI performance, and work spirit significantly mediated the effect of intrapreneurship on VCI performance. Findings described the relationships among intrapreneurship, work spirit, and VCI performance in Karangasem Regency. VCI performance is more influenced by the work spirit than intrapreneurship with a coefficient of 0.645; VCI performance is partially influenced by intrapreneurship with a coefficient of 0.383; work spirit is also partially influenced by intrapreneurship with a coefficient of 0.353. Work spirit with a coefficient of 0.227 can act as partial mediation of the VCI performance in Karangasem Regency, Bali Province, Indonesia.

Does work-life balance and organizational justice affect female nurses’ performance in a pandemic era?

This paper aims to investigate the direct and indirect effects of female nurses’ performance antecedents, with organizational commitment as a mediating variable. The variables of work-life balance and organizational justice are also analyzed. The study was carried out at four government hospitals in the Indonesian province of Bali, with 285 female nurses as respondents. The paper employs total sampling as a sampling technique. SmartPLS software was used to perform data analysis using partial least squares. The findings show that various antecedents of female nurses’ performance have a significant positive effect. However, organizational justice has no significant effect. The results revealed a link between different female nurses’ performance antecedents. With a t-statistic value of 7.986, organizational commitment is more effective than the other antecedents. The results revealed a partially mediating effect of work-life balance with a t-statistic value of 3.493. In addition, the effect of organizational justice is fully mediated based on a t-statistic value of 5.097. This study suggested that female nurses’ pay should be calculated based on their workload and job risks.
