About work on the Ukrainian academic journals development

July 05, 2018

Making Ukrainian scientists and editors aware of the experience of peer-reviewed academic journals is one of the main tasks of the Business Perspectives' activity. Unfortunately, authors from Ukraine often do not follow the basic rules of submitting articles for publication, do not always pay attention to the publication ethics principles, and do not promote their own articles already published.
The editors of the journals neglect the established publishing procedures and rules as well as the journal management. That is why Ukrainian journals have an extremely low share in the leading bibliometric bases and libraries of the world, and the articles of Ukrainian authors are not familiar to academic community of the world. Therefore, the Business Perspectives' volunteer project generates great interest and brings lecturers, editors and librarians from different Ukrainian universities together.

Information on these events is provided on the sites of the University of Customs and Finance, Simon Kuznets Kharkiv National University of Economics, Vinnytsia National Agrarian University, etc.
In addition, the participants of recent conferences at the National University of Kyiv-Mohyla Academy and at the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine got acquainted with the Business Perspectives' projects.
