Business Perspectives continues promoting Ukrainian academic journals

On June 21, 2018, Simon Kuznets Kharkiv National University of Economics held the seminar "Academic journals: creation, promotion and assessment". This is a volunteer project of the Publishing Company "Business Perspectives", aimed at implementing its strategic goal – to bring as many Ukrainian journals as possible more in line with the best publishing practices.

Professor Volodymyr Ponomarenko, the university rector, editor-in-chief of the International Research Journal "Investment Management and Financial Innovations", made an introductory speech on the tasks of universities in supporting the academic journals. Professor Serhii Kozmenko, Business Perspectives co-founder, and Liudmyla Ostapenko, a director of Business Perspectives, described the quantitative and qualitative indicators of academic journals in Ukraine, the possibilities and ways of their development, the necessity and options for the authors to promote their articles, the main errors in the manuscript preparation. Oleh Kolodiziev, professor, head of the Department of Banking at Simon Kuznets Kharkiv National University of Economics, told about the publications in peer-reviewed journals. Scientists, journal editors, and librarians from many Kharkiv universities and other Ukrainian cities contribute to the discussion.
