Prof Dr Peter Cunningham has been involved in human resource training and consultation for the past twenty years. He has presented a number of scientific papers at leading international and national conferences. In addition to having published more than 50 discipline related publications, he is the only South African SAP R/3 certified consultant in Human Resources and Business Information Warehouse at an academic institution. His current activities include the development of curricula for under- and post-graduate courses in SAP R/3 (Human Resources), and the development of training material on SAP R/3 (Human Resources). He also lectures in the fields of human resource management, SAP implementation, social research and sociology. Current research activities include an investigation of SAP R/3 (HR 4.6) in the auto-industry - with specific reference to VW South Africa, Delta Motor Corporation, Daimler Chrysler Motor Corporation South Africa, Rolls Royce (England) and Skoda-auto (Czech Republic).
