Hai-Chin YU
Hai-Chin YU is finance professor at the Chung Yuan Chris University Business School, Taiwan. She has been a member of the faculty since 1987. She earned her Ph.D. in Business Administration majored in finance from National Cheng-Chi University, MBA and BA degrees from National Taiwan University. She has been a Fulbright visiting scholar at University of Chicago during 1995-1996, Fulbright visiting professor at Drexel University during 2004-2005, and visiting professor at Rutgers University 2007-2008.
Her research interests lies in the areas of corporate finance, financial institution, and international capital market. She had published in several academic and banking journals, including Physical Review E, Applied Economics, Physica A, Applied Financial Economics, Pacific Economic Review etc. She also serves as the editorial board of Banks and Bank Systems (EconLit), Journal of Money, Investment and Banking (EconLit), Journal of Applied Finance (EconLit), and Advances in Quantitative Analysis of Finance and Accounting (EconLit).
Professor Yu has been selected as the outstanding teaching teacher at Chung Yuan University in 1991, 1992, 1993, 1999, 2003. She teaches advanced MBA and executive MBA courses in international financial management, corporate finance and research method; Ph.D. courses in seminar on corporate finance and financial institution. She also serves a few of private advisory boards.
