Muhammad Mahboob Ali
Ph.D., Professor of Finance, Economics and Management, Head of M.H. School of Business, Presidency University, Bangladesh.
He is currently Executive Editor of Presidency University Journal and IST Journal on Business and Technology; Chairman of the Center for Breakthrough Thinking in Bangladesh; Member of the Editorial Board of Global Economy and Finance Journal, Australia; Member of the Editorial Board of Global Review of Accounting and Finance, Australia, etc.
He earlier worked in the financial institutions for more than thirteen years in different capacities.

In the course of his professional career as a University teacher Dr. Mahboob has been involved in innumerable intellectual pursuits and massive contributions around 100 (besides five references/text books) research-based articles both jointly and independently in journal articles, conferences, working papers, seminar papers, book chapters. Out of these articles he has publications in foreign journals such as Thunderbird International Business Review, USA; International Review of Business Research Papers, Australia; Journal of Planology, Japan; Southwest Review of International Business Research, USA; Journal of Bank and Banks System, Ukraine; Journal of "Problems and Perspectives in Management", Ukraine; South Asian Journal of Management, India; Global Business & Economics Anthology, USA; The Quarterly Journal of FORE, New Delhi, India; Journal of Economic Cooperation Among Islamic Countries; The Indian Economic Journal, Pakistan Academy for Rural Development, etc. In these journals there have been research works as well in different areas of national and global finance, strategic management, operations management, economics, and banking, etc. He is currently working with Dr. Victoria Wise on a book "Corporate Governance, Corporate Social responsibility and Ethical issues with special reference to Bangladesh".
He was a founder executive Editor of the journal of People's University and Ex Executive Director of the Center for Corporate Governance and Corporate Social Responsibility. He was also awarded as one of the Best Trainers in the year 2002 by Rapport Bangladesh Limited. Currently, he has been working with a number of foreign consultants here in a many research projects. He is also one of the fellows of World Business Institute, Australia; Life Member of Bangladesh Economic Association.
Professor Mahboob received 9th Rapport award for excellence in Human Resource Development in 2009. He was awarded best paper award in the field of Banking, Finance and Economics at the 2nd annual Asian Business Research conference for the article on "Bangladeshi Money Supply and Equity Returns: A Co-Integration Analysis" (co- author). He also received best paper award in the field of Management for the paper on "Strategic operations management and it impacts on organizational efficiency and effectiveness in business organizations of Bangladesh: An Empirical analysis"(co-author) at the 4th Asian Business Research conference.
